Big Al's Custom Scooters seeks to honor God by impacting the lives of our employees, customers, and community.

 

We believe that God owns this business and we are simply His stewards of it for a season.  We want to make sure that all we do in and through the business honors Him.  By the same token, we do not want to do anything that will dishonor Him.

OPTION 1. READY TO SHIP ORDERS

When you purchase one one of our "Ready to Ship" classic car or hot rod-styled representation mobility scooters, it arrives exactly as shown in the photos; the fiberglass body has been MODIFIED and PAINTED and is MOUNTED to a MODIFIED EZRider 4-wheel mobility scooter (to learn more about the EZRider mobility scooter, please see our "SCOOTER INFO" page.  The scooter is ready to be shipped and the shipping cost is NOT INCLUDED in the price.

 

Please allow up to seven (7) business days before shipping.  Due to size, a scooter cannot be shipped UPS or USPS and must be shipped via a commercial carrier LTL (Less Than Load) shipping.  It is preferable and less expensive to ship to a business address (your own or a friend’s who has given you permission).

 

OPTION 2. CUSTOM NO-PAINT ORDERS (YOU PAINT))

When you purchase one one of our "Custom No-Paint Order" classic car or hot rod-styled representation mobility scooters, it arrives with a MODIFIED but UNPAINTED fiberglass body and is MOUNTED to a MODIFIED EZRider 4-wheel mobility scooter (to learn more about the EZRider mobility scooter, please see our "SCOOTER INFO" page.  The scooter is ready to be shipped and the shipping cost is NOT INCLUDED in the price.  Available models include:

When you purchase one one of our "Custom Paint Order" classic car or hot rod-styled representation mobility scooters, it arrives with a MODIFIED fiberglass body CUSTOM-PAINTED to your specifications and is MOUNTED to a MODIFIED EZRider 4-wheel mobility scooter (to learn more about the EZRider mobility scooter, please see our "SCOOTER INFO" page.  The scooter is ready to be shipped and the shipping cost is NOT INCLUDED in the price.  Available models include:

All returns are subject to our 30-day return policy:

 

30-DAY RETURN POLICY:

• All returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee - no exceptions.

• Buyer must pay for return shipping - no exceptions.

• Product must be returned in new condition.  For example, no damage, cracks, scratches, unclean or any indications of usage.

• A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) must be requested from Big Al's Custom Scooters/Hutchison Medical within 30 days of delivery of the modified mobility scooter.  Once an RMA has been received, modified mobility scooter must be returned within 14 days.

 

INFORMATION ABOUT THE FIBERGLASS SCOOTER BODIES

All fiberglass bodies are a representation only and are not highly detailed.  The bodies are made from high quality fiberglass materials and are various scaled.  ​

"READY TO SHIP" PAINT COLORS

Please note that the "Ready to Ship" scooter that you order may have slight variations in the paint colors compared to our website images when viewed on a computer or phone. 

 

"CUSTOM PAINT ORDER" PAINT

If a branded paint color is ordered on a Custom Order scooter, we will  use that exact paint.  But please note that due to the nature of the painting process, slight variations in the colors of the design may vary slightly from your expectations.  Each custom scooter fiberglass body is painted by hand and is unique due to the manual freestyle method of creation.  Each scooter body paint project will be a truly unique One-Of-A-Kind piece of work and no two are exactly alike.

"CUSTOM PAINT ORDER" PRICING

Please note that the base price for a custom order scooter only includes one or two paint color on the primary body, silver or silver metal-flake paint for the headlights, grill, bumpers and trim, red paint color for the tail lights and black or blue for the windshield/windows.  Any additional paint colors are priced extra (for instance, if you wanted black racing stripes added to a fiberglass body, there would be an additional cost).

PAINT ARTIST

Each custom scooter fiberglass body is made-to-order and is painted by an artist that is a professional automotive body specialist with 20+ years of experience using very high-quality automotive body paint, metal-flake, pearl and clearcoat. 

 

LICENSED PRODUCTS

Our fiberglass scooters are not licensed products and we do not promote them as such.  Each scooter is INDIVIDUALLY handmade, therefore an ORIGINAL and can never be mass produced.  You are paying for the artist’s time to create your scooter by hand without the use of automated molding or any type of computer-generated painting devices such as screens, plotters, direct-to-object, copier or projection tools.  All designs are the sole interpretation/creation of the artist and in no way represents any affiliation or sponsorship by any company.  Any trademark/copyright/name/character references maintain the rights of their original, respective owners.  We do not claim ownership of these references.
